Satanic Altar

This is just a type of aesthetic I was curious about and wanted to explore so I created this piece to try and get some experience and broaden my skills. I was interested in the chaotic style that satanic artwork has and wanted to give it a try.
For this piece I’m most proud of the texturing aspect that I worked on. I feel as if I was able to recreate a grimy and unsightly appearance and while the appearance of the star symbol is stereotypical it helps deliver the idea that this isn't your typical catholic altar.
If I were to improve on this piece, I would take it back into brush and carve satanic pictures or symbols into the flat surfaces on the sides of the altar.
