Katana

I created this piece because I have a great interest in Japanese culture and all things anime.
While the shape of the katana is simple, I was glad to get it right and while adding my own design to it i was able to keep its overall appearance true to the real things. The blade would be the same to most katanas, I added my own design to the handle of the sword and a simple design for the guard.
However, I believe that I made the grip of the sword too flat. If I were to try recreating this piece I would make thin cloth wrappings for the grip as opposed to the solid smooth bar in its place.
